Following consultation with our current leaders, we have recognised that ongoing professional development is essential to support their needs in delivering Family Connections courses. In response, we will be launching a dedicated series of webinars exclusively for our leaders.

These webinars are designed to address the complex challenges leaders may face and will provide practical tools, guidance, and insights. Topics currently in development include:

• Dealing with vicarious trauma
• How to tell your story
• Creating a safe space
• Tips and tricks to running a successful course

Each session will be hosted by Amanda Shaw and feature expert presenters with the experience and knowledge to answer questions and provide relevant, real-world advice. The series will also be supported by our Leaders Sub-Committee, ensuring that content remains relevant and grounded in the realities of course delivery.
