QLD Leaders-Connect

QLD Support Group is  led by Tony and provides support to QLD leaders in the delivery of Family Connection Courses.

The group plays a key role in fostering collaboration among leaders, while also facilitating a deeper understanding of the specific needs and dynamics within their local communities.

Each member of the Leaders Sub-Committee has committed to leading a designated State Support Group, coordinating regular online meetings within their region. These meetings are intended to support the effective planning and delivery of the Family Connections course by enabling leaders to collaborate and agree on suitable dates and times.

Beyond course coordination, the State Support Groups also provide a valuable forum for leaders to share feedback directly with the Leaders Sub-Committee. This feedback loop ensures that Headway remains responsive to the needs of our leaders and continues to provide the necessary support and resources.

The frequency of these meetings will be determined by each group, in consultation with their members. In cases where a leader is unable to identify a suitable co-leader within their own state, the State Support Group lead may liaise with the Sub-Committee to facilitate cross-state collaboration and connect them with an appropriate partner
